Hello, I'm giving MAGIX a thumbs up but there's a huge caveat to that. At the moment I play a lot of Dirt Rally 2.0 & I use Radeon Relive to record gameplay. I then use Magix to make a video for Youtube that includes the recording & some templates, nothing too complex. While MAGIX is complilng the video which can take a long as several hours depending on the length of the footage I want to be able to continue using my PC & I can but here's the problem I'm having. I go back to playing my game & using Radeon Relive to record more footage while MAGIX is compiling the video, I'm using an 8 core Ryzen 2700x cpu that has no problem with multi-tasking, It allows me to continue playing my game & recording the footage while MAGIX is compiling the video with no adverse impact on what I'm doing. Everything runs fine but when MAGIX complete's the video it cut's into my gaming to tell me it's finished & it starts up a small window showing the finished video playing, that's not a problem as I can simply close the video down continue playing the stage I'm on in the game and edit the pause out of the recording later, The problem is that when I go back into the game it's unplayable my in-game performance has tanked to become a stuttering slideshow & any attempt to close MAGIX down fails, the only way I can fix it is by rebooting my PC which means having to restart the stage I'm trying to record which is not always possible due to the online live play nature of many of today's games & for me that's a big issue.. After further use, this is a really nice bit of software I can recomend. It has video transforming, rotating, fliping, scaling, etc. The UI is a little clumbsy from where they're tried to also make it idiot proof I think, but once you get your head around it, it's a fully-fledged video editing software.. A VERY decent Video editing system that includes LOTS of effects etc. I used a WAY old version of Video Deluxe back in the day and then tried them again a few years back (video pro something) but was dissapointed with the direction they were headed. Now it seems they are returning to their roots with more options and features once again, which is good. It has a few minor bugs (like when you flip a object then try to edit that object with another effect the controls are filpped??). Still it is decent and works and has a good interface. I don't think I would use it for a BIG project (think full length movie) but it does seem perfect for smaller projects (30 mins or so - youtube videos etc).. Bad, Crashes all the time.. This video editor is one of my favorites. It's very easy to navigate; as well as, easy to use too. I like that they release a new version yearly that has new stuff added. Highly recommended!
